FILLMORE COUNTY MUSEUM Fairmont Creamery Building / Ashby Building - 1886 At Highways 6 & 81, Fairmont, Nebraska 601 Sixth Avenue, Fairmont
This building was constructed by the Fairmont Creamery in 1886 and in 1907 was bought by Dr. S. F. Ashby for his medical practice. It houses artifacts primarily from Fillmore County with special displays featuring items from the Fairmont Creamery and Fairmont Foods, the Ashby family medical practice, World War II and the Fairmont Army Airfield. The museum also has a reading room of Fillmore county history books, antique kitchen items, wedding dresses, and artifacts from the Spanish American War and World War I, plus many more items.

McClellan Drug Store - 1905 Sixth Avenue, Fairmont, Nebraska
Across the street from the Fairmont Creamery building, the old McClellan Drug Store contains a variety of cubicles housing special displays. Of special interest is the soda fountain; a 1905 carriage; a one room schoolhouse; a pitcher collection of over 2,400 pitchers; an iron collection; printing equipment; miscellaneous farm tools and an antique furniture display.

Strang Museum Just off HWY 81 Hamilton Township Hall - 1889 South of Main Street
Formerly the Hamilton township hall built in 1889, the Strang Museum was moved to town in 1984. During Strang's centennial year, 1986, the building was transformed into a museum. Standing on the grounds is a wooden windmill and the steeple bell from the United Brethren Church.
